Bean & Bao collects the information below to take and fulfil your orders. The store decides what it asks for and why, and is responsible for it. It runs on Orderdale, which keeps that information on the store's behalf.

What is collected
- What you order, the total and any note you leave.
- An email address for a receipt, if you give one when ordering in the shop.
- The store's own notes about you and your orders, and whether you came to a booking.
Payment
You pay Bean & Bao directly, by the ways it lists. Nobody here asks for your bank login or banking credentials.
How it is used
To take, prepare and hand over your order, to contact you about it, and to send the emails about it. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.
Who else handles it
Orderdale (run by Easetra Inc., Ontario, Canada) keeps it on the store's behalf, with the companies it uses:
- Supabase — the database, hosted in Canada.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage for uploaded photos, and delivering emails.
- Google — the map on this store's page, which loads from Google Maps as you scroll near it.
Where it is kept
These companies may process it in Canada, the United States or other countries where they operate, so it can be subject to those countries' laws.
How long it is kept
As long as the store keeps its order history. If you ask the store to delete your details, the order stays in its sales records without your name, contact details, address, notes or answers.
Your choices
You can ask the store to see, correct or delete your information — it is the store's record. You can also write to Orderdale at support@orderdale.com, and it will help the store act on it.
If that doesn't settle it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Cookies and this device
This store sets no advertising or tracking cookies — only the ones remembering your language. It counts visits as daily totals, with a short note your browser keeps in its own storage and never sends.
When you order in the shop with its code, a one-way, salted hash of your IP address — never the address itself — is kept for about a day, only to stop codes being guessed.
